Q. Describe your business.

A. We do custom clothing and gifts for everyone from very large corporations to small gift shops and boutiques. We do
everything from the most basic t-shirts, hats, mugs and pens to custom awards. We do a lot of high-end stuff as well. We
don't just want to be known as a t-shirt company, although a lot of our business is t-shirts. We've done 1,000 different
products for people. We've done yoga mats, home accessories, blankets and wedding favors. We have a huge hat
collection. People come in and try on 50 different hats. People are crazy about their hats. We create logos for people. I
have an art person who works for me full time. If the Dana Point News wanted a new logo, for instance, themed around
the ocean, we'd come back with 10 different ideas. We can do the screening, printing, and make things for men, women
or children.

Q. What makes your business unique?

A. We specialize in unique, hard-to-find items and on our service. In this industry, people just don't call you back or follow
up. It's kind of a tough business. What we pride ourselves on is our service and obtaining the best prices in Orange
County. We want to give people more choices. We try to give them a variety; we try to educate them in this business. We
have a closet full of clothes. We can customize the showroom for what they want. A pool man called and said he wanted
to do an order of 12 shirts. We did the shirts, and he referred somebody who ordered 5,000 shirts. No person is too
small. We never turn down an order because you don't know what it's going to lead.

Q. Where does most of your business come from?

A. Our Web site is where we do a majority of our business. About 90 percent of our business is Web-based. Most people
don't even want to come down. People want to do it through the Web. We send them samples. We do virtual proofs. I
think people are realizing the power of advertising their logo. It creates more of a one-of-a-kind feel. You can't just go
and buy it everywhere if it has a logo on it. A lot of people are doing promotional giveaways. They'll come and buy 1,000
hats for promotional purposes.

Q. What is the best part about your job?

A. The best part is being able to work from home, and spend more time with my family. I get a lot of satisfaction when I do
a custom order for people. I take something that is just an idea, maybe they had no idea what they wanted, and I turn it
into something they are so happy with.

Q. Why do business in Dana Point?

A. I like a small city. I feel like I'm part of the community. I obviously love the weather. I think that the people here are
really hungry for small businesses. When we open our shop, we want to open in Dana Point. I love Dana Point. I never
really want to move away from here.
